Veterans Job Search Workshop February 20th
A Job Search Workshop for veterans will be held on Thursday, February 20 at the San Andreas Library in Calaveras from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1299 Gold Hunter Road off of Mountain Ranch Road.
The event is hosted by the Employment Development Department and Mother Lode Job Training.
“Our veterans have served our country well,” Elena Linehan, Calaveras Manager of Mother Lode Job Training said. “They are entitled to a wide array of veteran services available from the Employment Development Department. And we want to make certain they are aware of them.”
The workshop will feature presentations from local employers who hire veterans as well as information regarding the 7,000 job openings anticipated by the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and how to apply for them.
Also on hand will be representatives for the Calaveras Veteran Services Office, the VA Veteran Offices, Mother Lode Job Training and the Employment Development Department.

February Monthly Mixer At ARC
San Andreas, CA....Please Join us on Thursday, February 20th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the The ARC of Amador and Calaveras in San Andreas for our Monthly Mixer. Located at 153 Bellview Street. The ARC's mission is to provide support and services to persons with developmental disabilities so they can better live, work, learn, and recreate in the mainstream of life.
