Master Gardeners Class
Join Amador County Master Gardeners on March 2nd from 9am to noon for a free Beginning Beekeeping class. The
class, being held at the Amador County GSA Building, 12200-B Airport Road in Martell, will cover such beekeeping
basics as how bees make honey and how they decide on a new home. Also included will be a review of different
types of hives and beekeeping equipment as well as products of the hive.
This class is open to the public. If you have questions about the class or have other gardening questions, call the
Master Gardeners at the UC Cooperative Extension Office from 10am to noon, Tuesday through Thursday, 223-6838

Kids Cooking Class
Kids Cooking Class at Marisolio Tasting Bar, 488 Main Street, Murphys. Kids are on Spring Break this week, and may enjoy joining us for our first ever Kids Cooking Class. Kids will make stuffed pizza sandwiches out of dough and a variety of fillings. Healthy green salad topped with their own dressing creations complete the menu. Mary Trotter and Debbie Callahan are instructors. Cost is $25. Call 728-8853 to reserve your space.
