All Day Caltrans District 10 Road Report & Construction Schedule April 25 to May 1st
Angels Camp, CA...The latest schedule of road repairs and maintenance that will affect your travels in our area and as you travel. Locally crews will be working on many of our roadways. Below is Caltrans plans for repairs and maintenance on local roads. It shows the route, county, and location of the possible repairs. Weather and other factors can alter their schedule. All Day One-Way Traffic Controls on Hwy 16 During Maintenance Work
Amador County, CA...The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will employ one-way traffic control next week while performing maintenance work. Crews will conduct drainage work from Greilich Road to State Route 124 from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. beginning Sunday, April 25 through Friday, April 30, 2021.
Motorists should expect 10-minute delays.


This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.

All Day One Way Traffic Control During Bridge Work on State Routes 4, 12 & 26
Calaveras County, CA...The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct intermittent one-way traffic control next week while performing bridge maintenance. Work will be conducted as follows: STATE ROUTE 4:
• From the Old Highway Connector (end of bypass) to Red Hill Road from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. beginning Monday, April 26 through Friday, April 30, 2021. STATE ROUTE 12 • From East Route 26 to Double Springs Road from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. beginning Monday, April 26 through Friday, April 30, 2021. STATE ROUTE 26: • From Railroad Flat Road to Barney Way from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26.


Motorists should expect 10-minute delays at these locations. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

All Day Local Veterans Get Your Covid Shots on April 29th & 30th in Copperopolis & Angels Camp
Angels Camp, CA...Attention all Calaveras Veterans! The Palo Alto VA is offering free COVID vaccinations to all Calaveras veterans. April 29 they will be in Copperopolis and on April 30 they will be in the Middletons parking lot. If you are interested, you need to make a reservation at (209) 754-6438.


About the ACVMP
We serve the veterans in the Angels Camp Veterans Memorial District through funds collected via the county property taxes within our district. We have scholarships to veterans children/grandchildren and gift certificates for Thanksgiving and Christmas
All Day Don't Miss the HCO Sledfest this Weekend at Bear Valley
Bear Valley, CA...Sled Fest 2021 - HCO / Skyline Bear Valley Resorts pre-event and event requirements: "Early Birds Arrival" : Thurs/Fri early bird arrivals are approved at $20 per vehicle per night but will not be allowed access to the hill. PLEASE NO BURN BARRELS OR FIRES ON THE PAVEMENT!







“ Race Courses will only be used by registered racers we interpret the course will be unmarked throughout the day until prior to official race. When we officially mark it out, only registered racers will be allowed. We will immediately remove designator at conclusion of race. This would make the "track" just a part of the open ride hill.

Event Itinerary:
Friday April 30:
First day of official check in-Tickets available at the check in booth to be operated by Skyline Bear Valley out of our Ticket windows at the day lodge. $20 Per Trailer (Overnight).
Friday night parking lot social
Friday night ride 10pm-midnight with Joe-NO ALCOHOL use will be allowed on this ride.

Saturday May 1:
-Resort offers breakfast/coffee Starting 8am and ending at 11 AM. Available in the Cafeteria.
-11:30 AM to 3:30 PM the Sundeck BBQ will be active.
-10 AM Snowmobile Barrel race
-12 PM Snow bike hillcross
-3 PM hill climb race
-Throughout day Dodov Foundation will hold Avalanche training course
-There will be open/free riding on the resort hills
6-7pm will hold awards ceremony followed by film premiere/social in theatre/sun deck/Sunroom followed by Duncan Lee Avy Awareness Presentation
-5:30PM to 7:30PM Tri Tip Dinner available on the Sundeck
-7:30-8:30PM Sundeck Social.

Sunday May 2:
-Resort offers breakfast/coffee Starting 8am and ending at 11 AM. Available in the Cafeteria.
-11:30 AM to 3:30 PM the Sundeck BBQ will be active.
-Course/event cleanup
-More open free riding on the mtn
-12 noon Rider clinic Put on By Joe Gill.
-Sunday attendance monitored for event growth. (HCO and SBVR)

How to collect day use/camping fees? SBVR will have a parking lot attendant on both days directing people to go to the ticket window at the lodge and buy the day use or overnight camping fee. The attendees will not be allowed to ride on the hill without doing this and having a valid ticket on their person. Ski patrol and Law enforcement will have the ability to remove people from participation if they are not complying with our rules. No refunds.
Enforcement of Covid protocols? SBVR will have signage everywhere (as we currently do) and ask folks to comply with the rules inside the building which are:

If you are not eating or drinking then you need to wear a mask and stand six feet from each other. On the sundeck is the same protocol. Alpine County is in the yellow tier which mean we have 50% indoor capacity and this number will be enforced.
