Big Plans at Big Trees State Park for Earth Day!
Arnold, CA...We're Calaveras Big Trees State Park, of course we have plans for Earth Day!  Join us next weekend, 4/20-4/21, and the day itself, Monday 4/22, to celebrate Earth Day!  Saturday and Sunday we will have an Inspiration Station from 11:00am-2:00pm by our Visitor Center where you can learn all the big and little ways you can help the environment. Plus, as you can see, there's a cute photo booth attached!
Want to explore and learn more about the park? Our nonprofit partner, the Calaveras Big Trees Association, will be hosting a seminar on bird watching Saturday 4/20 10am-12pm at our Education Building. There will be a guided bird walk on Sunday, 4/21, at 9:30am leaving from our Visitor Center and a guided hike around the North Grove Saturday 4/20 at 11:30 and Monday 4/22 at 11:30.

The Big Used XC Ski Sale Starts April 20th at Bear Valley Adventure Company!
Bear Valley, CA...The much-anticipated Used XC Ski Sale begins Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 9 a.m. This event showcases the season's best deals on well-loved skis, boots, and poles from our rental fleet. Concurrently our deeply discounted Spring XC Ski Sale is running with 30%-50% off new skis, boot, bindings, and poles.

It was a day for features, profiles and most importantly the Rotogravure section with all the color ads that had kids begging mom & dad for the latest toys, Dad checking out the new hardware and automotive specials and Moms everywhere looking for the best for their families. So it was a day to let the hard news and crime stories wait till Monday if they could and focus on fun, family and of course Shopping. Get Ready to Run in the 2024 Mr. Frog's Wild Run on April 21st.
Murphys, CA...We are doing things a little differently this year and taking to the road on our webbed feet. Join us Sunday April 21st 2024 for the 1st Mr. Frog’s Wild Run.
