The Calaveras County Shootout Continues on Today!
Angels Camp & Copperopolis, CA...The Golf Club at Copper Valley and Greenhorn Creek Resort have created an event to showcase the Sierra Foothills golfing community. The Calaveras County Shootout is a 2-Day event for both Pro and Amateur golfers.
2 person team, 2 days of golf, 2 different courses, 2 meals per day for $590 per team (or $295 per person)! Join us July 1st and 2nd for our 2 person scramble with a 9 am shotgun both days. Entry includes 2 days golf, carts, range, breakfast each day, BBQ each day. There will be raffle prizes and prizes for each flight! The field is limited, so save the date and sign up early.

Cheer on the Runners in The Hernia Hill 1/2 Marathon
Vallecito, CA...This spectacular course near historic Murphy’s, CA, offers a challenge for all ability levels.
Since 1998 our 1/2 Marathon trophies have been dedicated to Ernie Klann. Ernie started the first Hernia Hill 1/2 Marathon in 1988. We are proud to have been associated to continue “his” race.
On day of the event, we will adhere to current CDC guidelines in place at that time.
Course~
All distances are beautifully scenic with hills and finish with a “dash” through the ‘Wine Cave’.
5K – has one fun hill prior to the finish line
10K – Includes a dash up the finishing hill twice, so you get the punishment twice.
Half Marathon – utilizes Red Hill Road with a long and very pretty run through the California Hills…beautiful and golden at this time of year.

Post Race Festivities~
Beer and other beverages provided and hosted by On Your Mark. Post race lunch is included in entry fee.
Wine tasting, raffle (must be present to win) and award ceremony.
Awards~
5K & 10K – Medals to top 3 winners male/female in all age groups
Half Marathon – Trophies to overall winners. Medals to top 3 male/female finishers in each age group.
Day of Schedule~
6:30 a.m. – Check-in and race day registration opens
8:00 a.m. – Start Half Marathon
8:30 a.m. – Start 5K & 10K
10:30 a.m. – Post race raffle and award ceremony.
