Back by popular demand, Mads Tolling is returning to Bear Valley this summer. With the orchestra, he will play a work that turns the Vivaldi's Four Seasons upside down and inside out: Max Richeter's Vivaldi Re-Composed. We are so excited that he is returning to Bear Valley and playing a work that takes a masterpiece and shows a whole new way of understanding and experiencing it. What better place to explore like this than in Bear Valley!
Bear Valley Music Festival is a non-profit organization and has been able to exist for 55 years only because of generous donations of time and money from our community. Ticket sales cover just half of our expenses, so every contribution makes a difference. You can donate online by clicking here, or add a donation to your ticket purchase. Laurence Hobgood Trio Tonight at Bear Valley Music Festival Bear Valley, CA...Jazz Times says that Laurence Hobgood – a multiple Grammy® nominee and 2010 Grammy winner – is “One of the finest pianists out there. Period.” He is a joyful and melodic improviser who lights up the most familiar works like Georgia on My Mind or Nat Cole’s Straighten Up and Fly Right and Beatle’s Blackbird. A talented composer, Laurence also treats audiences to his originals which are soulful gems that feel like warm embraces. He will be joined by bassist Terry Miller and drummer Gary Novack.
