04:00 PM - 07:00 PM 3rd Annual Holiday Concert Fundraiser
Save the date of Saturday, December 13th 2014, from 4:00pm-7:00pm, for the Third Annual Upcountry Schools Music Fundraiser. This event is presented by The Friends of Rail Road Flat School, a non-profit group dedicated to preserving the rights of children to be educated within their communities.
All proceeds benefit the Music Departments of Rail Road Flat, West Point, and Mokelumne Hill Elementary Schools. Each school decides where to allocate their proceeds within their music departments. Past uses include; purchasing and maintaining instruments, field trips and music assemblies, and music lessons. A friend of the school music programs donated a Vintage SG Guitar at the 2013 event that was traded for each school to now have 3 electric guitars, 3 amps, mics, stands, cables, and 3 PAs for each the schools.
Performances by local musicians and upcoming young musicians throughout the evening including: Drew Phillips Band “Moke Hill”, Carl George, and Taven Dennis, Elementary Ukelele Players, and more….
Soup, Salad, and Bread Dinner available during Intermission
Bake Sale and Coffee Station
Donate your old or unused instruments – tax deductible
$10.00 per person over 12 $5.00 per person 2-12years old

04:00 PM - 07:00 PM Holiday Concert Fundraiser for CUSD Upcountry Schools
Friends of Rail Road Flat School are Hosting the Third Annual Upcountry Holiday Concert Fundraiser on December 13th 2014 in Historic Mokelumne Hill. All proceeds benefit Rail Road Flat, Mokelumne Hill, and West Point Schools music programs. Performances from student and local musicians. Evening includes a soup, salad, and bread dinner as well as a bake sale. Adult admission is $10.00 per person, and children 2-12 years old are $5.00 per person. 04:00 PM Give the Gift of Music!
Saturday, December 13th from 4-7 at the Mokelumne Hill Town Hall. This is our 3rd annual fundraiser to raise money for the 3 upcountry schools ( West Point, Rail Road Flat and Moke Hill ). All of the proceeds go directly to the schools to keep music classes and to purchase or maintain instruments. There will be a Soup and Salad dinner as well as a bake sale and child and adult performances throughout the night. $10 ($5 for kids 2-12 and free for under 2) $40 max per family.
