Calaveras County Maury Rasmussen Airfield Temporarily Closed Beginning at 7:00AM Tuesday February 21
San Andreas, CA...The County of Calaveras will be temporarily closing the Maury Rasmussen Airport runway from February 21, 2023 at 7:00 am (0700) until 5:30 pm (1730) on Thursday, February 23, 2023. The County is in the process of reconditioning the airport and will be performing pavement studies for future reconstruction.
Additionally, a NOTAM for runway closure will be issued and closure markers will be placed on the runway. Please contact the Airport at 209-736-2501 if you have any questions.

Women Test Your Heart Health at Mark Twain Medical Center During American Heart Month
San Andreas, CA...Women: Test Your Heart Health During American Heart Month in February. Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women. During American Heart Month in February testing is available at Mark Twain Medical Center to help local women monitor their heart health. Make time any weekday in February for a Comprehensive Lipid Panel test. It can help identify chronic and new conditions like cholesterol numbers and other risk factors.
It's simple. To get your Lipid Panel Test bring your Photo ID to the MTMC Laboratory Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. You must start fasting 12 hours prior to your visit for accurate results.
