During the month of February, purchase a red heart for ANY dollar amount. You can write the name of a loved one or your organization to show your support of Hospice and it will be hung with pride in the Amador Hospice Thrift Store and the Calaveras Hospice Thrift Store
All proceeds benefit end-of-life patients and their families cared for by Hospice of Amador and Calaveras

MFP Class: Preserving Fish & Game
Are you a hunter or fisherman? Or is there one in your house who brings home fresh game and fish that needs to be preserved? Come to this class to learn a variety of techniques including marinating, smoking, pressure canning & freezing.

Guided Hike, Big Trees State Park - 209-795-3840
Free, however, entrance fee $10 ($12 on holiday weekends) per carload applies. Guided hikes available year round. When the snow covers the ground they become guided snowshoe walks every Saturday at 1pm. Snowshoes are provided free, first come first served. No reservations are allowed. Check in at the Warming Hut no later than 12:30 pm.
