Please attend our book sale comprised mostly of donated books with an assortment of puzzles, games, DVDs & audio books. This is a fundraiser and all proceeds go to the Friends of the Library.

"Pride In The Park" Will Be On September 3rd
Murphys, CA...The newly founded Tri-County LGBT Alliance is an LGBT community servicing the Tri-County (Calaveras, Amador, Tuolumne) area as well as Alpine Country. On Saturday, September 3rd from 10:00am – 8:00pm in Murphys Community Park the Alliance will host their inaugural Pride In The Park event. They invite all friends, family, community allies, and LGBT members to the Park. We will be celebrating Diversity and supporting connections within the Tri-County Area. Dressing in bright colors to show your support for the LGBT Community is encouraged.
Free Admission and ALL Ages are Welcome. There will be Live Music & DJ all day long, guest speakers, informational booths, other LGBTQ Organizations, a Photo Booth, Beer & Wine provided by a local Charitable Organization, Food served from local vendors, a Scavenger Hunt, Silent Auction, Games, and more!

The Arnold Lions Pancake Breakfasts Are Back This Weekend

44th Annual Labor Day Weekend Arts & Crafts Festival
The 44th ANNUAL LABOR DAY WEEKEND ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL will be held Sat. & Sun, September 3 & 4 - in the beautiful mountain resort town of Arnold on Highway 4. Situated among the pines and redwoods at the 4000' elevation, Arnold’s popular end-of-summer celebration features 55 booths of original art & crafts in all media - exhibited by the makers. There’s gourmet foods to sample, & face painting for the kids - and adult ‘kids’! Continuous shows of live country/swing music by “Homegrown” from Modesto and famous juggler Michael Taylor of ‘Catch it Quick’ from Chico will perform both days.
The Ebbett’s Pass Volunteer Fire Dptm. will be serving local beers, and a variety of home-made food booths & kettlekorn are offered. The Ebbett’s Pass Lion’s Clubs holds their all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast of ham, eggs, & pancakes both days from 7:30 - 11:00 for only $7.
The Festival runs from 10am - 5pm each day on the park-like grounds around Bristol’s Ranch House Café in downtown Arnold (Formerly held at Cedar Center). Admission and parking are free, so come join the celebration! For ‘Google Maps’ or GPS directions, the address is 961 Highway 4, Arnold, CA, 95223.

Big Trees North Grove Guided Tours Saturdays At 1pm
Arnold, CA...North Grove Guided Tours – Guided walks of the North Grove are held on Saturday at 1 pm. The walk is 1.5 to 2 hours. Meet in front of the Visitor Center. Bring water and your comfortable shoes.
Snowshoe Walk – When appropriate – the guided walk becomes a snowshoe walk. Snowshoes are provided.
