All Day The 21st Annual Ironstone Concours d' Elegance is September 23rd
Murphys, CA...For over 20 years, the non-profit Ironstone Concours Foundation has presented the Ironstone Concours d’Elegance with the idea of attracting the finest examples of vintage and classic automobiles as well as vintage race cars, trucks, trailers, housecars and military vehicles. Proceeds of the event go to promote and support youth in agriculture. More than $750,000 have been raised for local Future Farmers of America (FFA) and 4-H youth activities. The Ironstone Concours Foundation also donates scholarships to the California State Fair and the Calaveras County Fair as well as the FFA Leadership Conference, Guide Dog Programs and Horse Classic. All Day Calaveras County Artists Studio Tours, September 23 - 24, 2017 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
San Andreas, CA...Visit the studios and art of 31 artists in Calaveras County, and enjoy art from paintings to ceramics, jewelry to hand-dyed silk scarves, and get a taste of Calaveras County Arts. Preparing for a major disaster increases your chance of survival and minimizes the impact to your health. This is a FREE event to help residents prepare for natural and manmade disasters. Local businesses and agencies will provide seminars, demonstrations, and booths to share the latest information about emergency preparedness! Presentations bY: American Red Cross, Cal-Fire, Pacific Gas & Electric, PHI Air Medical, Ebbetts Pass Gas, local law enforcement & more!

03:30 PM Humane Society of Tuolumne County's Whiskers, Wags, and Wine Tasting Event
We know that great food and wine go hand-in-hand. That is why we're working with Ayrael Vieux Winery and Chef Dave Cooks to provide the ultimate in a food appetizer and wine pairing event.

Join us for this exceptional event at the Humane Society of Tuolumne County (HSOTC) conference room on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 3:30PM-5:30PM. Attendees will be greeted with wines and a brief primer on food and wine pairing. In addition, participants will enjoy our mystery box raffle along with our cat & dog coin toss for a local winery gift basket. Space is limited and tickets can be purchased at the HSOTC shelter in Jamestown, Mountain Bookshop in the Junction Shopping Center in Sonora or in our online store at hsotc.org. Tickets are $30.00 for HSOTC members, $55.00 for members + guest, and $35.00 for the general public.

Copperopolis, CA...We are so EXCITED here at The Square!! Get ready for more from the September Concert Series at Copperopolis Town Square. A huge thank you to all who came out last eve for Dakota Crossing! Weren't they fabulous?! Next up is the local fan favorite, Dive Bar Poets Saturday at 7pm! This high energy band will knock your socks off with songs from the 80"s and 90's See you then! Copperopolis Town Square – the events, shopping and entertainment gathering place in Calaveras County – will host the Copper Concerts series beginning September 2nd and continuing every Saturday through September 30th. Performances will take place at 7 p.m. near the intersection of Town Square Road and Little John Road. Admission to each concert is free. The following acts headline the series: September 2nd – Fuse Box, A High Voltage Tribute to ACDC, September 9th – Max Headroom, 80’s Rocks and Hits, September 16th – Dakota Crossing, Pop and Country Hits, September 24th Dive Bar Poets, A Local Favorite Returns and finally September 30th, Faithfully, A Tribute to Journey featuring vocalist, Jeff Salado.
