Locals' Night with Milliaire
Murphys, CA...Enjoy a glass of wine on our creekside patio, tacos by La Esperanza Taco Truck and live music featuring Risky Biscuits!
Milliaire Winery is a small family-owned winery founded by Liz and Steve Millier in 1983 in the cellar of their former home in Murphys CA. In 1990, the winery moved to an old Flying A gas station on Main Street in Murphys. The whole building was utilized for daily operations; barrels stacked in the repair bays, wine tanks in the backyard, bottling in the front yard and the tasting room in the office. There were jokes about what was in "those tanks" and a friend of the Milliers' dubbed it the "Roadside Chateau".
Following their dreams of making premium wines from the Sierra Foothills, today Milliaire Winery has expanded and occupies over an 8,000 square foot winery with a dedicated barrel room and modern crush pad facility. The Milliaire Winery tasting room still resides in the old "Roadside Chateau" at 276 Main Street.
Enjoy a unique selection of Foothill wines from Alicante to Gewurztraminer & Zinfandel Port. Bring your lunch and experience our wines on our picturesque Creekside Patio! Kids are welcome. Dogs on leash are also welcome.

Music in the Parks: Free Radicals CAMPS Restaurant, Angels Camp
Angels Camp, CA...Music in the Parks presents The Free Radicals, CAMPS Restaurant, Angels Camp, July 11, 2017, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. From swing to bebop and beyond, the jazz quartet the Free Radicals are out of this world. They debuted on Jupiter! Well, not the planet, but at the coolest music, vittles and libations venue in Berkley. Their jazz has been enjoyed and celebrated throughout Northern California. A popular band in the MotherLode, they sometimes wear real life neckties, and are always bubbly with excitement to play in any of our local venues.
They'll be bringing their sound to CAMPS Restaurant in Angels Camp. You can bring snacks, but please, no off-site alcohol. CAMPS serves a complete menu which you can enjoy on their shady patio, and their pizza oven will be up and running!
Music in the Parks is free to all, but we rely on the generosity of those who can contribute to make this program available to the community. Please help if you are able.
