All Day The All Hallows Faire 2021 is Saturday & Sunday, October 30 & 31 at Frogtown
Angels Camp, CA...The season to Celebrate the Celtic New Year in style and fun! The 11th annual, All Hallows Faire' is a two-day all-inclusive costume play event keeping in the All-Hallows tradition this year, the dead will be celebrated like never before! The Faire is deeply root​ed in the beliefs of the Celtic people, but combined with all the fun and excitement of a costume play in the spirit of modern Halloween. So, get ready to walk through some imaginative mythical-Sci-Fi, time and space like you never have before.





The Celtic New Year's Celebration.... All Hallows Eve is a blend of harvest and Halloween. Festival with Live Music, Stage Shows, Fire Show, Craft Vendors and more. For the first time ever, the true Celtic New Year will be on Sunday, October 31st. Between the Celtic New Year, and Monday, November 1st (Day of the Dead Mexico), a special opening will occur in the believed spirit world. This opening will be cause for celebration of the loved ones that have passed. On Saturday night, (pre-Celtic New year), a harvestman will be set on fire, filled with notes from the living ones to the dead. The purposed of this Celtic- ritual, is to reconnect with their loved ones from the spirit world. The ritual will start at 9PM on October 30th, in the main arena

Music Concerts: Featuring two stages of live music with 'CELTCIA' (Famous bagpipes, guitar and drums)
Special live performance on Sunday by SONORA' SAN JOSE' (Latin contemporary) for- Día de los Muertos
The Kevin Axtell Fire Extravaganza Show: Featuring the Phoenix Fire Family Spinners and fire eaters.
A Fire Breathing Dragon, Vikings, Mary Queen of Scot's Encampment, a Pirate School and more..
The ritual burning of the Celtic Harvestman (Saturday night only)
Kids games, pumpkin patch, and trick & treating through the entire event
Celtic and Halloween wares/craft/ art vendors, food, and beverages
Live music cantina bar, featuring Celtic whiskies, and Tequila-tasting samples from Old-Mexico
Large costume contests with major prizes both days for adults and kids (special categories also)
Special stage performances by jugglers, fire eaters, and dancers
Other featured band include: Black Irish band, Culann's Hounds, Skull Country, and Mexico Jim

All Day The 43 Annual Independence Hall Quilters Mountain Heirloom Quilt Faire!
Murphys, CA...Join us for the 43rd annual Mountain Heirloom Quilt Faire; a showcase of quilts wonderfully designed and stitched by the Independence Hall Quilters. Support our local artists by visiting the vendor booths, country store, and browsing needle art quilts for purchase. Adult tickets are $10 and are good for the entire weekend. Children 15 and under are free!


About
The mission of this Association shall be to encourage the art of quilting and to promote fine and useful quilting in an atmosphere of friendliness and sharing among people; to promote public interest in America’s oldest folk art form; to encourage quilt making and collection; to contribute to the growth and preservation of quilting techniques through education and instruction; to maintain a current and active quilt library; to present qualified speakers and demonstrations; to promote seminars and other quilt-related events; to use funds earned by this group for the benefit of its members in achieving the above stated purposes; to contribute up to 5% of the previous year’s profits from the annual Quilt Faire to any philanthropic or scholarship programs with which the membership is in agreement.

EVENTS
Education of IHQ members is a major element of our charter and mission. Trunk shows and workshops will provide new ideas and techniques. Member-taught classes will continue to be diverse and exciting. Particular emphasis will be given to the many requests for basic quilting classes. We will continue to present the design challenge, a special display at our annual Quilt Faire. Quilt Camp continues to be offered, providing another opportunity to learn new quilting techniques and nurture new and continuing relationships.
All Day Don't Miss The Harvest Haunt at Railtown 1897
Jamestown, CA...With the train whimsically decorated for Halloween and staffed by a “skeleton crew,” the popular experiences take place aboard an excursion train that departs at 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 and 3 p.m.



Train ride guests are encouraged to get in the spirit and dress up according to these fun weekly themes: Critters & Creatures (Oct. 9-10), Superheroes & Villains (Oct. 16-17), Pirates & Princesses (Oct. 23-24) and Witches & Wizards (Oct. 30-31).

Located in the heart of California’s Gold Country, Railtown 1897 SHP combines railroad heritage, local history and the lure of Hollywood and is one of only two authentic and still-operating short line steam-era railroad roundhouse complexes in the entire country.
