It’s PARTY Time For Youth Mentoring, Friday, June 15 at Chatom Winery in Vallecito!
Vallecito, CA...Tickets are still available for THE PARTY on Friday, June 15, 2018, from 6-10pm at Chatom Winery in Vallecito. Tickets are $75 per person, with tables of ten for $650. Reservations can be made online at www.CalaverasMentoring.org or by contacting the Calaveras Mentoring Foundation at (209) 736-7706. THE PARTY is the Calaveras Mentoring Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser for the Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program.

This year’s event will feature a delicious buffet dinner of steak, chicken and pasta; dancing to the big-band jump blues sounds of local band Blow Daddy; plus a raffle, live auction, and treasure chest. Masters of Ceremonies Doug and Joey Brown will lead the festivities.

“Our generous community has really come through with fantastic ways for patrons to support the mentoring program's most important annual fundraiser,” said Calaveras Mentoring Foundation President Peggy Lucas.

“The raffle will include everything from beautiful hand-made art to fun summer adventures to gifts for kids, pets, and pampering,” said Lucas. “The live auction will feature amazing donations by mentoring supporters, including a week at the original Club Cascades in Cabo San Lucas, a rafting trip for four on the American River, a fabulous group dining experience, a vintage Dora Kuhn 1960's dollhouse, and a silver tea service!”

This year’s Treasure Chest offers a chance to win a cruise for two from San Francisco to Hawaii. Only 100 keys are available for $100 each. Donors can purchase a key online or at the event, and either try their luck at unlocking the chest themselves, or use a proxy. The spectacular 12-day voyage includes nearly every island, is unaffected by the volcano, and is valued at $4,500.

Many generous supporters have signed on as sponsors, including Dr. Andrew and Jane McCoy, Tad and Jane Bottomley-Winans, Calaveras County Office of Education, Christian Family Learning Center, Dignity Health, Richard and Margaret Mills, Bank of Stockton, Dr. William M. Griffin, Tim O’Connor DDS, Foothill Printing & Graphics, Sandy and Wayne Fuller, Gold Electric, Donna Shannon, Adventist Health Sonora, and Bert and Jane Lucas.

The Calaveras Mentoring Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for youth mentoring in Calaveras County. The Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program connects local youth with safe, positive mentors who offer friendship, opportunity, and support for making healthy life decisions.
