Music in the Parks: Nathan Ignacio June 20, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Brice Station Vineyards |
Murphys, CA...Nathan Ignacio is a rising star in California, having opened for such legendaries as BB King and Willy Watson of The Old Crow Medicine Show. Ignacio brings a modern take on the American folk revival tradition with songs that explore his sometimes hard journey through life. It's not all just melancholy; Ignacio can rock pretty hard on stage all by himself. He plays an impressive number of instruments—guitar, dulcimer, mandolin, harmonica, percussion—sometimes at the same time to build a complex sound that brings new life to old favorites like "Just the Two of Us," and steers new songs like "Tom Thumb" into the world.
Brice Station is the perfect place to listen to Ignacio, where you can watch the sun linger in the sky and sink into the blue twilight as Ignacio uses blues, folk, and Americana to weave stories that bring life into focus. Bring a picnic to enjoy, or purchase wine, soda, and snacks (no off-site alcohol allowed) for noshing while you listen and contemplate midsummer’s eve.
Music in the Parks is free to all, but we rely on the generosity of those who can contribute to make this program available to the community. Please help if you are able. 06/20/2018 Starts at 06:30 PM |
