Celebrate the Season at Mokelumne Hill's Annual Holiday Open House & Tree Lighting
Mokelumne Hill, CA...Discover small town holiday cheer at Mokelumne Hill’s Annual Holiday Open House on Sunday, December 9th, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. This quaint, historic, gold rush town comes to life with special activities for the entire family! FREE PARKING AND SHUTTLE FROM WENDELL’S PARKING LOT! Enjoy a Horse Drawn Hay Ride down Main Street and have a photo taken with Santa at the Historic Hotel Leger.  Merchants will be offering special activities such as face painting by Leslie Vasquez at Petroglyphe Gallery and Reindeer Games at McHale’s Revival. Complimentary Holiday Food, Drinks and Surprises at ACME ART, Moke Hill Nuts & Candies, The Old Firehouse, Old Enough to Know Better Antiques, JPM Realty and Renegade Winery.  Get creative at Ed & Brenda's with Ginger-Bread House Decorating and Children's Crafts at the Mokelumne Hill Library. Children can mail their "wish list" to the North Pole at the Mokelumne Hill Post Office.  


Rounding out the day’s events from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm at Petroglyphe Gallery, listen to the Magnolia Rhythm Trio play their rich diversity of music and impeccable harmonies while sampling wines from 1850 Wine Cellars of Sutter Creek. Artist Doug Lawler will be signing his new limited edition book “The Island of ZA, A Wordless Fable”. 
 
The TREE LIGHTING will happen at Renegade Winery, 5:30 pm!

Mokelumne Hill’s Holiday Open House is a chance for everyone to join in and celebrate the spirit of the season! Feel the warmth of small-town pride and the rich heritage of this historic gold rush community. Make it a holiday tradition to be part of the celebration!!
