First Friday Concert in the Park with Two Hoots and a Hollar!
Murphys, CA...Friday, July 7th Two Hoots and a Hollar! Murphys Community Club summer concert series continues on July 7th in Murphys Park at 5:30 p.m.. This is a free concert and we invite everyone to come down to your beautiful park and enjoy a night of food, fun, drinks and great music. Bring a chair and your dancing shoes.


You are invited to our annual First Friday Concert in the Park series. Please join us on July 7th at 5:30 p.m., hosted by Murphys Community Club

Two Hoots and A Hollar, a three piece band that plays most styles of music, but specializes in Rock, Blues and Funk, will entertain the crowd.

Mary's Taco Truck will be there, so you won't need to worry about dinner. We will have Helen's Hut open serving our famous Murphys Margaritas, as well as local wines, beer, soda, water, $5 hot dogs, nachos, ice cream and fresh popcorn.

Featured bands for the rest of the First Friday concert series include: August 4th , Pine Top Boogie Band with V Bistro catering and September 1st the familiar Cantamos will perform and catering by Murphys Historic Hotel. The Park will also be the site for the Calaveras Arts Council’s Music in the Parks performance August 2nd starting at 6:30. Murphys Community Club will also host the historic Homecoming event on July 15th with Plan B and for the second year, Oktoberfest in Murphys Park on October 14th. There is no admission charge and ample free parking available nearby. Donations to help maintain the Park are always gratefully received.

Murphys Community Park is located on Algiers Street in historic downtown
