Join Amador County Master Gardeners on March 2nd from 9am to noon for a free Beginning Beekeeping class. The
class, being held at the Amador County GSA Building, 12200-B Airport Road in Martell, will cover such beekeeping
basics as how bees make honey and how they decide on a new home. Also included will be a review of different
types of hives and beekeeping equipment as well as products of the hive.
This class is open to the public. If you have questions about the class or have other gardening questions, call the
Master Gardeners at the UC Cooperative Extension Office from 10am to noon, Tuesday through Thursday, 223-6838
