The Sierra Nevada Conservancy is looking for local community groups to host volunteer cleanup sites for the 2013 Great Sierra River Cleanup on September 21. Please join us for a free one-day training session and let us help you:
•Establish an event timeline, budget, and workplan
•Gain media exposure for your organization
•Recruit volunteers from your community
•Solicit sponsorship to support your event
•Collect data on trash and recyclables removed from your watershed
The training session will be held on Thursday, April 18, from 9:30 A.M. to 3:15 P.M. in Auburn.
To participate, please register by Monday, April 15.
