The Presbyterian Women's organization at the Church of the 49ers in Columbia is busy organizing a Yard Sale of Biblical Proportions, scheduled for Saturday, October 12, from 8 am to 2 pm (one day only). Members of the congregation have been collecting huge quantities of gently used items for the sale, which will be held inside the church's social hall -- with air conditioning!
Looking for wall décor, kitchen items, linens and bedding, craft supplies, jewelry, books, toys, games, tools, sports equipment, furniture? We have it! The Presbyterian Church of the 49ers is located at 11155 Jackson Street, Columbia -- on Parrotts Ferry Road at Jackson Street.
Proceeds from the sale will be used for missions of the Presbyterian Women, and also to help restore and preserve the church's historic sanctuary. For more information, call Nora Neves at 588-9876.
