The Duathlon and the 5K run courses are on paved surfaces that run through rolling hills and features running along the Stanislaus River, through the Knights Ferry covered bridge (the longest covered bridge west of the Mississippi), and into and around Knights Ferry – all of this, plus the beautiful fall foliage in full season!

Participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt, snacks, refreshments (including beer), and entry into an exciting raffle. The traditional On Your Mark Events’ beautiful trophies will be awarded to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as top Master’s (age 50 and over) male and female finishers. In addition, medals will be awarded to men and women, three deep (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place), in ten-year age groups through 70+ in each race.

The entry fee to the duathlon is $55.00 per person, pre-registered and $65.00 race-day registration. For duathlon relay teams (1 runner and 1 biker) are $100.00 pre-registered and $120.00 for day-of registration. The 5K Run fee is $35.00 pre-registered and $40.00 race-day registration.

Both, the Salmon Duathlon and 5K Run will start at 8:45 a.m., with check-in and registration beginning at 7:30 a.m., in the parking lot of the Knights Ferry State Park, locate right off Sonora Road, Knights Ferry, Calif.
