| Winter Explosion – Torchlight & Fireworks at Bear Valley! |
Bear Valley, CA...When the lifts stop turning, Winter Explosion festivities begin! Spend your MLK weekend in the mountains with our spectacular annual Winter Explosion event! On Saturday 1/19, once the lifts stop running we will keep the party going with tubing after dark, dinner at the mountain, a safety talk by our very own Mattly Trent, and finish the night with a bang with a torch-light parade and fireworks!
All-day FUN, itinerary:
11 A.M. – 2 P.M.
Live Band on the Sundeck

Sign-ups for participating in the Torch-Light parade, located in the Sunroom.
Based on first-come-first-serve, there are 150 spots available
THE TORCH LIGHT PARADE IS FOR ADVANCED RIDERS ONLY.
Sign-ups for the torch-light parade are based on first-come-first-serve and on-site ONLY. We will not have reservations available over the phone.

PLEASE NOTE: participates 12 and under need to bring their OWN flashlights. Flashlight or torches will not be provided to participates 12 and under.

To commemorate Safety Month, in partnership with NSAA, we are participating in and helping educate skiers and snowboarders about being safe, and to use common sense on the slopes.

TORCHLIGHT PARTICIPANTS: THE LAST CHAIR LOAD WILL BE AT 6:30 P.M., PROMPTLY. PLEASE PLAN TO BE THERE BEFORE 6:30 P.M. OR YOU MAY MISS THE CHAIR.

If you are not participating in the parade the best viewing area is on the sundeck.

As some of the last participants in the torchlight parade come down the hill watch the fireworks light up the sky!
