| San Andreas Sanitary District 75th Anniversary Celebration |
San Andreas Sanitary District (SASD) is commemorating its 75th year of service with a community celebration. In January 2021, SASD Board of Directors adopted a resolution that documents, commends and celebrates its history, which started in 1946. SASD will share it history, honor past staff and board members, and highlight significant milestones through the decades. For those interested, a plant tour will follow. Continental breakfast and refreshments will be provided.
ABOUT SAN ANDREAS SANITARY DISTRICT
San Andreas Sanitary District (SASD) was established in 1946 and began providing wastewater treatment services in 1952. Today, SASD maintains over 18 miles of sewer pipes, operates the treatment facility and provides wastewater treatment services to over 900 residential and commercial customers.
