Petroglyphe Gallery in Mokelumne Hill is pleased to announce an upcoming special exhibition of new works by regional artists, Pamela Findleton and Dale Laitinen, inspired by their recent journeys through the American Southwest. The "Personal Petroglyphs" exhibit will open on Saturday, October 5 with an artist demonstration from 3-5 pm and a reception from 6-9 pm.
Findleton and Laitinen’s works convey a personal connection to the ancient timeless landscape by capturing spectacular plays of light and shadow. Experience firsthand the transcendence offered by the awesome and foreboding environments of beautiful canyons and deserts. Visit with the artists and learn more about their painting adventures in Nevada, Utah and Arizona. Enjoy Findleton Estate wines and delectable appetizers. There will be a free drawing for a $100 Gift Certificate to the gallery at the closure of the opening event.

Petroglype Gallery is located at 8317 Main Street in downtown historic Mokelumne Hill, California, two blocks off of Highway 49, across from the Hotel Legér. The gallery is open Thursdays through Saturdays 11:30 am - 5:30 pm and Sundays 11:30 am - 4:00 pm.
