Join us for the Stanislaus River Cleanup! The East Stanislaus Resource Conservation District in Modesto is coordinating an event to help clean trash from the Stanislaus River. This trash eventually goes to the coasts and ocean and negatively impacts water quality, recreation, and poses a threat to human, plant, and wildlife health.
The event will take place on September 21st from 9:00am – Noon. Site locations include Jacob Meyers Park near Riverbank and The Oakdale Shopping Center near CostLess and the N. Yosemite/Hwy 120 Bridge. There will be a BBQ after the cleanup at Jacob Meyers Park for all the volunteers and prizes will be awarded.
Come help clean and beautify our natural waterways.
