The Central Calaveras Fire Fighters Association will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner and Bunco Night Saturday March 8, 2014. This event will be held at the Mountain Ranch Town Hall and dinner will feature spaghetti, salad, garlic bread and dessert. A no host bar serving beer and wine will open at 5:00pm with dinner starting at 6:00pm and 3 rounds of Bunco to follow. Funds raised will be used to purchase much needed equipment such as Extrication Gloves, Fire Hose Nozzles, Water Rescue Equipment, Rope Rescue Equipment, Radio harness and microphones, GPS units for each apparatus, and a Portable Pump.
Bunco is a social dice game that started in the 1800’s in San Francisco. Absolutely NO skill is required it is 100% luck. The rules and scoring are simple. No prior experience is necessary. The rules and scoring will be explained at the start of the evening.
Tickets are $25 per person in advance, $35 the night of the event. Pre-Sale tickets are appreciated and recommended. There will be a raffle/silent auction items and prizes for Bunco winners and maybe a door prize or two. Tickets can be purchased by calling Central Fire at 754-4330 or emailing tickets@calfrog.com.
