Angels Camp, CA...Over the weekend the Greater Yosemite Boy Scout Council held it's Annual recognition banquet in Modesto. From the Mother Lode area Lynn Bartlett, Sierra Hills Stone and Rich Kotowski, her Eagle scout escort attended. Lynn was recognized at the event for helping the National Boy Scouts revise their Sculpture merit badge book. That merit badge book now has three scouts from Angels....

Murphys, CA...Celebrating its Celtic heritage, which dates back to the Gold Rush era, the town of Murphys each year stages one of the most popular events in the Mother Lode. This year’s Murphys Irish Day will be held Saturday, March 15th.
