Arnold, CA...The Harbinger Gallery in Arnold is announcing a special 14th annual show and sale with fine artist Todd Abbott Winters, traveling from his home in Kerrville, Texas. The gallery hosted a reception in his honor on Saturday February 16th. The Harbinger is located in Cedar Center of downtown Arnold on Highway 4, next to the Blue Coyote Café....

White Pines, CA...Last Friday, Hazel Fischer Elementary School’s 4th and 5th graders got to try their hand (and feet) at the art of snowshoeing. Students were getting “cabin fever” from weather-delayed ski trips, cancelled basketball games, and from their play area at school being reduced to a narrow strip of wet blacktop. Glencoe, CA...The Arts Committee of Northeast Calaveras County (ACNECC) has announced that its next concert of the current season will take place on Sunday, March 9, at 3 p.m. in the American Legion Hall in Glencoe, which is located on state Highway 26, nine miles east of Mokelumne Hill. Murphys, CA...Alchemy Market & Cafe will be hosting a Winemaker's Dinner featuring Vina Moda Winery on Tuesday, February 5th. Dinner will begin at 5:00 and reservations are a must, live music will play until 8:30 pm.
