Thoughts on Dogs, Cats and Relationships~By Karen Wildwood

Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 03/13/2008 02:31 PM
There are cat people and there are dog people and there are a few in between people. But, have you ever stopped to consider how being one or the other can have an affect on your relationship? Now, I know this seems a small thing in the realm of relationships, but, it’s one of those lifestyle things that you have to face head on instead of trying to brush it under the carpet, which we all want to do with our differences when we are first in a relationship.....

Thoughts on Pet Names~By Karen Wildwood

Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 02/27/2008 02:20 PM
Standing outside of a relationship is an amazing thing. Every time I look around I see people in relationships, I wonder how that particular couple got together, what was the attraction – because sometimes, let’s face it, it’s just not very apparent – and what makes them stay together. One thing I notice is how couples speak to each other, and how many of them have pet names for one another, along with how many do not....

Thoughts on Bionicles, YouTube and the Invisible Wall~By Karen Wildwood

Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 02/20/2008 11:01 AM
The World Wide Web or the “Web” as we now call it has become a constant background in most of our lives. It has become so commonplace that many of us can’t even remember what it was like to not have twenty-four seven access to entertainment and news. That being said how many websites actually affect our everyday existence in our everyday lives and homes? My answer would be, not that many. Think about it, out of all the websites you peruse each day, out of all the information that you absorb and retain, how many of those sites actually break the invisible ether barrier and change the environment you live in?....

“You’re Better Off In One Room With A Crust of Bread”~By Karen Wildwood

Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 02/07/2008 08:51 AM
Woman, it seems, more than men change more than a little when they enter into a relationship. It’s a sad state of affairs, but, they are usually so caught up in the whole romantic notion of being in a relationship, that they will do almost anything to make the relationship work, even if it means not being true to themselves....

Thoughts on Acorns, Winter and Living in a Rural County~By Karen Wildwood

Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 01/30/2008 09:00 PM
It’s already been bit of a rough winter here in the rural foothills of California. The storms that have hit here from various directions have dropped more than our usual fare of snow at lower elevations, which makes navigation, even for those of us with four wheel drives, a little more difficult....

Reflections on Dating in the Rain~By Karen Wildwood

Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 01/23/2008 06:13 PM
Wintertime is usually a time when things slow down a little bit. After the holidays and with the coming of the heart of winter, everyone wants to just go out, get their stuff done and come home. This push to get home leaves little time for anything really exciting or fun....

Thoughts on the Rules of Engagement~By Karen Wildwood

Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 01/16/2008 05:06 PM
Being resingle typically leads to reentry into the dating life, which, in turn, feels a bit like a space shuttle coming into atmospheric reentry. Scorching comes to mind when faced with this reality, because it’s fast, it’s hot and it could either turn out well with a relatively smooth landing or disastrously with a lot of blackened earth in a swath behind you...
