CHP San Andreas Leads the Way For Christmas for Kaiden

Posted by: thepinetree on 01/31/2019 08:48 AM
San Andreas, CA...From CHP..."Many of you will remember Kaiden Lund (8) who was involved in a serious traffic collision on December 23, 2018, that took the life of his mother, Chelsea (27). Kaiden received life threatening injuries as a result of being struck head-on by an intoxicated and reckless driver in another vehicle. It is a miracle that Kaiden is still alive after spending 18 days in the hospital, missing Christmas. Officer Colby, with his wife Chelsea, organized a late “Christmas for Kaiden” at his Grandparents home with help from officers and staff of the San Andreas CHP and firefighters from Calaveras Consolidated Fire Department. On January 28, 2019, we delivered toys to Kaiden after giving him a tour of our patrol vehicle. His smile was AWESOME, especially when he used the silly string.
