Sacramento, CA.... California Attorney General Xavier Becerra today announced the arrest and indictment of 32 individuals associated with criminal street gangs throughout Northern California known as the BullyBoys and the CoCo Boys. The gangs and their associates conspired to defraud victims throughout California by hacking the credit card terminals and merchant accounts of dozens of medical and dental businesses.

The Marijuana Eradications Continue in Calaveras County |

San Andreas, CA...On September 6, 2018, the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team served two consecutive and unrelated search warrants. The first site was located in the 1400 block of Railroad Flat Road in Railroad Flat. This location was previously the site of an attempted marijuana robbery in October of 2015 which resulted in the shooting death of three persons. Deputies located a trailer with primitive living conditions and an outdoor cooking area, however, no persons were present at the time of the search warrant. 201 large marijuana plants were seized and destroyed pursuant to the search warrant. The investigation is continuing.

Major Injuries to San Andreas Woman in Hwy 49 Collision |

San Andreas, CA...A Mokelumne Hill woman was driving her Nissan on SR-49 NB approaching the rear of a VW. A San Andreas woman was driving her VW, and stopped to make a left turn onto Pool Station Road. The Mokelumne Hill woman took her attention from the road to deal with a toddler in the rear seat. She allowed the front of the Nissan to collide with the rear of the VW. Alcohol and drugs are not suspected and the toddler was not injured.Alcohol and drugs are not suspected and the toddler was not injured.

Sonora, CA...Forest Supervisor Jason Kuiken will host an open house Thursday, Sept. 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Stanislaus National Forest Supervisor’s Office. Members of the public may review maps and discuss the draft Environmental Impact Statement alternatives with forest staff. Maps of the proposed Over-Snow vehicle-use designations for each alternative will be on display.

Marijuana Eradication Near Angels Camp |

Angels Camp, CA...On 8-29-18 the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team served a search warrant for an illegal marijuana grow in the area of Spring Hill Ranch Road in rural Angels Camp. The area was discovered to have 1361 marijuana plants in various stages of growth. The majority of the plants were immature which were likely a second planting of the outdoor marijuana season. There were 15 grow areas complete with watering infrastructure with a combined potential to produce 20,000 plus plants.

Martell, CA...On Monday September 3, 2018 at around 10:45pm, the Amador County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from the owner of Get Ripped Nutrition, Martell. The caller reported he was inside the business with a women and her husband was banging on the door to get inside. The caller stated the husband was a California Highway Patrol Officer.

San Andreas, CA...Between 6:00 pm Friday and 11:59 pm Monday, San Andreas CHP officers handled 7 traffic collisions, three of them involving a DUI driver. During the holiday period the San Andreas officers wrote 48 citations, most were for speeding, three were for driving left of the solid double yellow lines, and 4 were for driving on a suspended driver license or not having a driver license. The remainder were for mechanical violations.

Body of Ceres Man Possibly Recovered at New Melones |

Tuttletown, CA...A sad discovery at New Melones from the Tuolumne Sheriff's Dept...."Yesterday morning a fisherman spotted a body in the water near the shore at New Melones Reservoir. 58-year-old Richard Matlock of Ceres was reported to have drowned in that area two weeks ago after jumping from a boat to swim, however he was not located.
