The suspect reportedly took a white dog out of the yard and put the dog in his vehicle. A relative of the victim happened to arrive and parked his truck behind the suspect. The suspect vehicle reportedly reversed striking the other truck and pushing it across the road. This caused a neighbor’s mailbox to be damaged when it was struck by one of the vehicles. The suspect vehicle then reportedly swerved towards both subjects and Pereira brandished a black handgun before leaving the area.
