Mi Wuk Village, CA...Yesterday afternoon, we received a call from a church in Mi-Wuk Village reporting a drunk man was causing a disturbance and trying to fight the pastor. A deputy responded and arrested 36-year-old Kelly Correia for public intoxication and for punching another man. Correia earned himself more charges when he was found to be in possession of a concealed fixed blade knife on his person and possession of a concealed pistol in his vehicle.

Valley Springs, CA...On 1-23-18 at about 0015 hours, two Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office deputies recognized a subject with outstanding warrants at a gas station in Valley Springs. Joshua Peabody (age 31 of Valley Springs) was contacted by the deputies after dispatch confirmed four outstanding warrants for Peabody’s arrest from Calaveras, Amador and Tuolumne Counties. Deputies informed Peabody he was under arrest at which time he attempted to flee on foot. After a short foot pursuit and jumping over a fence, Peabody was apprehended by the deputies.

Columbia, CA...From the Tuolumne Sheriff's Dept..."On Saturday morning just after midnight, deputies responded to a home on Marble Quarry Road in Columbia for a reported assault. Deputies found a 65-year-old woman who had been assaulted by 49-year-old Robbie Davis. During the investigation, deputies learned Davis who was a friend to the woman had struck her in the arm, thrown her to the ground, kicked her and hit her on the head with a metal object causing a small laceration. During the altercation, Davis ripped a cabinet off the wall in the garage and took both set of keys to her vehicles and home before he fled the scene. Deputies arrested Davis when he later returned to the home.

Jamestown, Ca...On Sunday morning, deputies contacted 34-year-old Bethany Windmiller at the Twin Pines Mobile Home Park in Jamestown regarding five warrants for her arrest. Windmiller was standing in the open passenger door area of a Ford truck. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located her purse containing methamphetamine and suspected stolen property. Three bank cards and a checkbook were later confirmed stolen. Windmiller was arrested for her warrants and fresh charges of stealing access cards or account information and possessing methamphetamine.
Sonora, CA...On January 22, 2018, around 4:45 a.m., Sonora Police Officer Hankins responded to the Inns of California (350 S. Washington Street) for a report of a male subject causing a disturbance. Officer Hankins arrived and received information the subject causing the disturbance was identified as Joshua Jackson Murray, 38 years old of Sonora. Officer Hankins was advised that Murray had been trespassed by management earlier that same morning and was requested to leave the property by Sonora Police Officers.

Washington, DC...Jerry Chun Shing Lee, aka Zhen Cheng Li, 53, a former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer, was arrested on charges of unlawful retention of national defense information. Dana J. Boente, Acting Assistant Attorney General for National Security and U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, and Andrew W. Vale, Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI’s Washington Field Office, made the announcement.
