The Adventures of Robin Hood Landed Him in Jail

Jamestown, CA...The adventures of Robin Hood landed him in jail last night after he was found with a quarter pound of meth. Tuolumne Narcotics Team Detectives spotted 47-year-old Robin Hood and 46-year-old Tonya Conley driving into Jamestown. Both of the Angels Camp residents had warrants out for their arrest. The vehicle they were driving was stopped by a patrol deputy just after 8:30 PM. Hood had four bags of methamphetamine in his possession. Each bag contained an ounce of meth totaling a quarter pound.

Vehicle vs Bicycle Collision in Sonora Yesterday

Sonora, CA...Yesterday evening at about 7:15 p.m. SPD officers responded to a vehicle v. bicycle collision near the 600 block of Stockton Road. It was determined that a westbound 2005 Hyundai Elantra and a westbound bicycle collided resulting in non-life-threatening injuries to the bicyclist, who was treated at a local hospital.

Update...20 Year Old Turlock Resident Zachery Russell Moore Lost His Life in Hwy 108 Head On Collision

Oakdale, CA...Notification to next of kin has been made by the Stanislaus County Sheriff-coroner. The deceased 20 year old Turlock resident from the fatality on January 18 that occurred on State Route 108 west of Kennedy Road was identified as Zachery Russell Moore. As released earlier...On January 18, 2018 at approximately 8:30 am, a 20 year old male Turlock resident was driving a 2001 Infinity sedan westbound on State Route 108, west of Kennedy Road, approaching a right bend in the roadway, in heavy fog, at an unknown speed. At this time, 30 year old Patterson resident, Christian Prado, was driving a 2015 Dodge flatbed eastbound on State Route 108, approaching the Infinity. For unknown reasons at this time, the Infinity crossed over the double yellow lines into the eastbound traffic lane, directly into the path of the Dodge. Subsequently, the vehicles collided head-on. The driver of the Infinity was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Prado was transported via ambulance to Oak Valley Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

CHP Makes Arrest For Reckless Driving, ID Theft & More...

Sonora, CA...On January 18, 2018, at approximately 1123 hours, CHP Officer Gowin was on duty in a marked CHP patrol vehicle traveling southbound on Stockton Road, approaching State Route 49. A 1995 Honda CBR 600 motorcycle, driven by Christopher Rommel, was traveling directly in front of the State Vehicle and was exceeding the posted speed limit. Rommel turned southbound on State Route 49 and Officer Gowin activated the emergency lights and siren to make an enforcement stop. Rommel looked over his shoulder at the patrol vehicle and immediately accelerated and began passing traffic, crossing double yellow lines into the opposing lane. The reckless driving exhibited by the Rommel posed a grave risk to the motoring public. Officer Gowin elected to discontinue the pursuit turning off the emergency lights and siren, and subsequently lost sight of Rommel south of Golf Links Road.

Second Indoor Marijuana Grow Eradicated Last Week in Valley Springs

Valley Springs, CA..On 01-11-18 members of the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team served a search warrant for an illegal unregistered indoor marijuana grow at a residence in the 6000 block of Highway 26 in Valley Springs. This location is another residence where deputies found the entire house had been converted for marijuana cultivation. 1,346 marijuana plants were seized and one subject arrested. Xiu Huang (57 year old female from Sacramento) was booked into the Calaveras County Jail with $30,000 bail for 11358(c)H&S – illegal marijuana cultivation and 11366H&S - maintaining a place for the purpose of unlawfully selling, giving away, or using any controlled substance (commonly known as “operating a drug house”).

Expired Registration Leads to Drugs Being Sniffed Out by K9 Beau.

Sonora, CA...From the Tuolumne Sheriff's Dept...."Monday morning, Deputy Poel conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a 2002 gray Ford Ranger for expired registration. He deployed his partner, K9 Beau, who alerted to the presence of narcotics in the truck. Methamphetamine, packaging, prescription pills, and a hypodermic needle were found during a search of the truck.

Sonora, CA...The Sheriff’s Office received interesting call Saturday morning. 34-year-old William Castner was reportedly yelling while waving a machete around as he walked near the corner of Main St and Red Hills Rd in Chinese Camp. Castner then took a man’s motorcycle helmet and smashed it on the ground until it broke.

Perris, CA...Early Sunday morning on January 14, 2018, a 17-year old juvenile escaped from her residence situated in the 100 Block of Muir Woods Road, Perris and managed to call 911 from a cellular device she found inside the house. The teenager claimed her 12 brothers and sisters were being held captive inside the residence by her parents and further claimed some of her siblings were bound with chains and padlocks.
