Mountain Ranch, CA...On 2-1-18 at about 1:50pm, Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a property in the 8000 block of Avenue A, Mountain Ranch for a report that several subjects were trying to steal a tractor from the property. Deputies arrived and located subjects matching the description given. As deputies approached, a male subject ran away on foot ignoring the deputy’s commands to stop. That subject was identified as Ricky Cavaco (age 33 and a transient in Calaveras County). While investigating the possible theft report, several more subjects showed up in a vehicle. The passenger in that vehicle 43 year old Cicely Johnson was contacted and arrested after it was determined there was a felony warrant out for her arrest from Solano County.
