Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! Cloudy here at 5am as the current Pacific front moves into the area. Winds are slightly increasing as we expect some breezy conditions today. With a slated high of 34F snowfall production looks to arrive in the next few hrs and we could see 2-4″ fall during the day today with another 1-2″ tonight. Snow levels are still expected to be around 4500′ so there is a chance we could see upwards of 10″ in the next 24hrs. Unsettled snowy weather looks to stick around for most of next week so stay tuned and I’ll give all ya’ll the 411. The Upper jet is finally changing course as models are continuing to show a wetter March than normal. It’s a great time to ski/ride don’t forget to check out our Lifts and Trails page Daily for projected operations. Check out our “Pure Mtn Fun” as we have lots of it going on!

Enjoy a Great Weekend in the Mountains! Remember...Sunlight is the Best Disinfectant!

Arnold, CA...Yes, we all know Covid-19 fever is quite literally spreading in certain parts of the globe and in the US. A sneeze can spread a virus up to 6 feet. So what to do? Well you can pray the bug doesn't find you and self isolate at home and peer out at the world through one of your screens. Or you can head out into the great outdoors, keep a safe distance from all those pesky human petri dishes and naturally boost your immune system with fresh air, sunshine & ski, ride, walk, golf or play with us. All of our counties have less than 20 people per square mile. Your can help keep our local small businesses humming along as well. Put the old adage of "Sunlight is the best Disinfectant" and UV to a practical & fun use! Calaveras, Tuolumne, Amador & Alpine counties all have less than 20 people per square mile! :)

Elevations for the coming snow look to be around 4-5K ft. Surface gradients also look to tighten up a bit with the approaching system so winds could be a factor bringing the daytime highs down a bit.
