Calaveras County, CA...On GivingTuesday, California 4-H supporters will have an opportunity to double their impact with a gift in support of 4-H youth in Calaveras and Tuolumne counties. “4-H is the number one youth leadership program in the country, and we consistently hear from 4-H alumni that they attribute their college and career successes to the skillsets they learned in 4-H,” said Rosemary Giannini, 4-H community educator for Calaveras and Tuolumne counties.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! So..................Winter is going to make it's arrival this Tuesday as we see some good snowfall potential at the resort level coming. Today though we will see sunny skies with temps in the mid 50's then tomorrow the cold front will makes it's way out of BC and coupled with the available moisture we could see a good 20-30" of light density snowfall starting Tuesday through Saturday. The bulk will fall between Tuesday and Wednesday night with residual snowfall into Saturday. Yes, the door is finally opening and the next wave looks to come into play just after the Thanksgiving weekend. On the longer range December looks to be colder than normal with some expected chilly temps and the 2nd half also looks to have good snowfall potential. Sierra Repertory Theatre's Production of Grease Runs Through December 15th

Columbia, CA...Now though December 15th the Sierra Repertory Theatre is performing the classic musical Grease. The Historic Fallon House theatre in Columbia the production venue. It is about Rydell High's senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding "Burger Palace Boys" and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking "Pink Ladies" in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950s in this rollicking musical. Head "greaser" Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their "Summer Nights" as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as "Greased Lightnin'," "It's Raining on Prom Night," "Alone at the Drive-In Movie" recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation.
