)Sold Out)...The Living Legend Willie Nelson at Ironstone with Kacey Musgraves on August 18th

Posted by: thepinetree on 08/15/2017 06:01 PM
Murphys, CA...When different generations of country music come together, something magical happens. That’s exactly what happened when Kacey Musgraves teamed up with legendary Willie Nelson for the track “Are You Sure.” The video is set in a small town bar with a moving disco ball that features Kacey and Willie lonely at the bar drinking. Shortly after, they join the band performing on stage for an epic duet. The song proves that although Kacey sings modern tunes about issues today like ‘Follow Your Arrow,’ and ‘Mind Your Own Biscuits,’ she comes from an old country soul.

Amazed, Inspired and Grateful Doesn’t Begin to Say It. ~ By Ron Fillmore

Posted by: News_Desk on 08/15/2017 09:23 PM
Murphys, CA...On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Murphys Old Timers Museum, I would like to thank everyone who supported “The Concert of the Summer” held at Brice Station on July 16th. The event was a huge success with all proceeds going directly to our community museum. I especially want to thank our sponsors the Mast and Quyle families for sharing their beautiful venue and staff along with the many individuals and businesses who sold concert tickets including Sustenance Books and Next! Upscale Resale. Appreciation also goes to the Rugo family who donated their own ranch-raised beef, Clamper Floyd Berry who handled the grill and our incredible volunteers who planned and organized everything from the menu to the silent auction to clean up.

Ironstone Came Alive & Soared Like an Eagle with a Packed House for Steve Miller & Peter Frampton

Posted by: thepinetree on 08/14/2017 05:54 PM
Murphys, CA....Whoever said Sunday nights are when the weekend is winding down probably wasn't at Ironstone Amphitheater last night. It was filled with fans of the classic rock sounds of Steve Miller & Peter Frampton. The consummate musical pros put on a great show. One person in the audience we spoke with thought they even sounded better now than when they heard them in the 80s. It was great to see classic rock performed at a level that honored music that has become part of the musical soundtrack of generations.
