Murphys' Jenna Seim Earns Dean's List Honors At Elmhurst

Elmhurst, IL...Murphys' resident Jenna Seims has earned her way onto the Dean's List at Elmhurst. Elmhurst College is a leading liberal arts college located eight miles west of Chicago. The Dean’s List is compromised of students, who during the semester concerned, attained a grade-point average of 3.75 or higher (out of a possible 4.00). The College’s mission is to prepare its students for meaningful and ethical work in a multicultural, global society. Approximately 3,200 full- and part-time students are enrolled in its 25 undergraduate academic departments and more than 15 graduate degree programs. Murphys, CA...Calaveras Mentoring Foundation was recently awarded a $5,000 grant from Wells Fargo. The grant will be used to support the Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program, which connects local youth with safe, positive mentors who offer friendship, opportunity, and support for making healthy life decisions. “We are sincerely honored by the continued support of our local Wells Fargo,” said Calaveras Mentoring Foundation President Tom Suarez. “The strength of our community is the reason the Mentoring Program is so successful.” ...
