We received generous donations from Kathi Grover’s class at Albert Michelson School, Jacey Bray’s class at Bret Harte High School, and Jane Ferguson’s class at Mountain Oaks School. We wish to thank them as well as Bret Harte Leadership students Sean Krpan and Brandon Kelly, Calaveras River Academy students Mike Vasco, Alex Mooshi, and Austin Underhill for helping us build a canned food tree in our lobby. The new league is Bret Harte Little League. This was done for the following reasons: To create a greater sense of community in our new league. Ultimately, most of your children will end up at Bret Harte High School. Both Boards from the former EPLL and CALL leagues believed that we should help foster a larger community perspective in our organization as a way to help the kids get to know each other..
