La Grange, CA...It is the busiest time of the year, full of holiday preparations and celebrations! The Odd Fellows of LaFayette Historical Lodge #65 remind you of our monthly breakfast, always on the second Sunday at the IOOF Hall in downtown La Grange. Sunday December 11th is the date this month. We’re open 8 to 11 am with a menu of biscuits and gravy, sausage, ham & cheese omelets and French toast. Complimentary coffee and orange juice round out the meal, all for $6 per adult, $3 for children ages 7 to 12, 6 and under are free.

Calaveras County Road Maintenance Schedule Through December 2nd |

Calaveras County, CA...The Calaveras County of Public Works will be grading Hawver and Doster Road through friday. There will be ditching and patching of roads near White Pines through Friday. Expect minor delays near San Andreas due to Culvert Installation on Whiskey Slide Road. Hawver Road is closed from Victory Lane to Jesus Maria Road.

Lead Testing Machines Providing Important Preventive Care for Children |

Sonora, CA...The Volunteers at Sonora Regional Medical Center recently donated over $2,000 to purchase a lead screening machine for Arnold Family Medical Center. In addition, the Pediatric Clinic at the Forest Road Health and Wellness Center secured grant funding to also purchase a LeadCare® II screening device.

Tuolumne County, CA...The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has closed Sonora Pass/State Route 108 for the winter as of Wednesday, November 30, 2016. The road is closed at the Sonora Snow Park.
