A 45 year old Valley Springs woman was driving her 2009 Dodge in the Southbound traffic lane of State Route 49 at approximately 45MPH. P-1, due to his sleepy/fatigued state, allowed V-1 to travel to the left of the solid double yellow center line while attempting to negotiate a natural curve in the roadway to his right. P-2 observed V-1 drifting into her lane so she swerved to the right in the attempt to avoid the collision. V-1 then struck V-2. V-2 was then propelled into the steel guard rail located on the west road edge of SR49. After the collision, V-1 came to rest on its wheels facing in a Southerly direction blocking the Northbound traffic lane. V-2 came to rest on its wheels facing in a Southerly direction blocking the Southbound traffic lane. The roadway was closed for approximately 1 1/2 hours for removal of the vehicles...
