Sender's Market's Thanksgiving Ad & Grocery Specials Through December 1st

Posted by: thepinetree on 11/19/2020 08:14 AM
Mountain Ranch, CA...In 1950, we started out as a family operation with Erich’s father and mother, August and Freida Sender, in a century-old adobe building. The upstairs was home to the Sender family, and the first floor included groceries, a meat market, a bar, and a small eating place called Opa’s Smokehouse. On Christmas morning in 1968, the old store was destroyed by fire. But in June 1969, Sender’s Market, Inc. was opened. Since that time, there have been many changes, including remodeling, expansion, and the addition of many employees. That’s also when we added the truss plant and purchased Sender’s Market Ace Hardware in Valley Springs. Today, we're still family owned and still working hard to stock everything from pantry essentials to power tools. Whether you've got questions about the perfect cut of meat or the right kind of paint, our helpful, knowledgeable staff has you covered.  Click on images below for larger versions

Posted by: thepinetree on 11/19/2020 02:21 PM
San Andreas, CA...Meet Lindsay, a lovely shorthaired dilute Tortie estimated to be about eight years of age. With enormous green eyes and a calm, quiet personality, Lindsay is super cuddly and enjoys being petted and brushed. This sweet girl was found wandering near a busy highway and has a microchip, but her owner cannot be found. Although Lindsay loves people, she does not care for other cats and becomes quite nervous when around them. We feel she would do best where she is the only feline and can be the adored queen of the household.

Posted by: thepinetree on 11/17/2020 09:27 AM
San Andreas, CA...COVID-19 continues to pose a severe risk to communities and requires all people in Calaveras County and across the state to follow necessary precautions in light of this ongoing risk. On Monday, November 16, 2020, Calaveras County rolled back from yellow to orange, a more restrictive tier on the state’s 4-tier COVID-19 system. This means that some indoor operations will be allowed to be open with modifications. Calaveras Public Health urges caution and encourages people to take the necessary steps to prevent being exposed to the virus and help the county continue to lower its risk level. Visit Blueprint for a Safer Economy to find specific business information and the county’s latest status.
