We are a non-profit organization which helps facilitate the local studio and air original community programming to your home. The mission of Public, Education, and Government (PEG) Access Television in Calaveras County is to provide the people in the County with fair and reasonable access to cable television channel(s). The goals for PEG Access Television are to promote free speech, foster diverse points of view, encourage communications, create opportunities, encourage artistic expression, expand educational access, and promote participatory democracy in order to strengthen the spirit of the communities and enrich the lives of our residents and visitors...

Calaveras County, CA....Yesterday we happened to catch the Easter Bunny in Arnold out delivering flowers and cheer in the area. Blooms and Things will deliver throughout the county and almost anywhere. Stop by their beautiful Angels Camp location or call and get beauty and smiles. Happy Easter....

Law & Justice Candidates Night April 29....Tonight!!!! |

San Andreas, CA...With a focus on law and justice, candidates for sheriff and the two superior court benches will gather for a questions and answer session at the San Andreas Town Hall on April 29. Two half-hour sessions for the judicial candidates will be followed by a one-hour Q&A session for the sheriff contenders. This event will begin at 6:00 PM with meet and greet hour. Candidates for other county offices will also participate in this segment which includes no-host wine, beer and sodas. The Q&A sessions begin at 7:00 PM....
This event is being sponsored by the Calaveras Economic Development Company and the County Chamber of Commerce. Voters may submit questions for the candidates in advance to Contact@CalaverasLife.com. |

Rivals Bret Harte and Calaveras High Girls Soccer Split the Night |

Calaveras County, CA ... Bret Harte & Calaveras Highs Schools Varsity Girls Soccer teams had a healthy defensive battle Tuesday night resulting in a 0-0 final score. Bret Harte started building momentum with just 10 minutes left in the first half and nearly scored but the referee called play on. Both teams came out strong in the second half. BH Offense combined for 8 shots on frame, while Calaveras put 6 shots on frame all saved by Goalkeeper Jessica Stohlman. Sam Crabtree and Sarah Wilson were strong contributors to Bret Harte's effort. No cards were issued to either team.

Mokelumne Hill, CA..On April 11, 2014 Kent Barton Snyder, Jr. of Mokelumne Hill passed away at his home. He was 74. A native of Oakland, he was the son of Kent Barton Snyder, Sr. and Virginia Wallace Stypes, born May 26, 1940. He was a truck driver and transportation officer for Calaveras County Behavioral Health. He loved gardening as a hobby....

Calaveras Humane Society and Above and Beyond Travel To Host Chamber Mixer On April 17th |

Arnold, CA...The Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce will be also having their April Monthly Mixer on Thursday, April 17th in Arnold. This month's mixer is being co-hosted by Above and Beyond Travel and the Calaveras Humane Society at the Human Society's Thrift Store in Arnold. Located at 2182 HWY 4. Hours of the mixer are 5:30-7 p.m....
