Copperopolis, CA...This fundraising event is taking place Saturday, October 29 from 11-5 at Bridlewood Equestrian Center in Copperopolis. On September 18, Copperopolis residents Rick Kovacs and his granddaughter, Jordan Kovacs, died from carbon monoxide poisoning while attending a gymkhana horse show in Clements. Jordan was only 14 and had gone to Copperopolis Elementary (her younger brother, Brody, 8, still attends there) and was currently attending Mark Twain School. She and Rick were also active members of Copper Hills 4-H. Their family has had to deal with two tragic deaths and two burials...

Coppoeropolis, CA....Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital has announced the date for the Fall Health Fair in Copperopolis. The Fair will be held November 12th from 7:00 a.m. to noon at Copperopolis Town Square at the intersection of Little John Road with Highway 4. Dozens of Community Health Groups will be participating in this event. Copperopolis, CA...We would like to thank a viewer for letting us know about a power outage that he said is affecting much of Copperopolis this morning. Power went off in the are just before 6am. PG&E as of yet does not have information on this outage and hopefully it will be back on soon. The latest from PG&E has restoration time by 9am..

The reasons have been dicussed and re-discussed and overall a majority of the responses have been in favor of a recall. During this time Spellman’s supporters have tried to scare the community by suggesting it will cost too much.... |

The Mother Lode Jewish Community has set plans for the upcoming High Holy Days. We will be holding a Kol Nidre service on the evening of Friday, October 7th at the Orman home in Murphys. The service will be preceded by a potluck dinner at 4:45PM before we start our fast. The Kol Nidre Service will begin at 6PM....
