Come one come all, enjoy our hometown celebration!....Did you know that in the late 1800’s the community of rancher’s in this area that were spread out far and wide would come together once a year for a huge family picnic? This yearly picnic became known as “Homecoming.” Hence the name of our wonderful community/family get together every year garnering the time honored name “Homecoming.”....

Copperopolis, CA...So you’ve decided to move to the country where land ownership of more than .5 acres requires immediate livestock ownership. Well, at least it seems that way. Upon arriving in Copper and staking claim to two acres of rolling hills, picturesque ponds, and a few seasonal creeks, I thought I had amassed enough property to be considered a minor land baroness. What you need to know here, is that if one is from the city, one most often has a decidedly skewed view of land ownership once one finally...

Come join in the fun as you boo the villain and cheer for the hero in this hilarious comedy adventure......

As we understand, the negative vote taken today on the Trinitas Project was preliminary and you will be making the the final decision at a later date.
We appreciate that the Trinitas Issue has been extremely divisive and a heavy burden for public officials to endure. Perhaps we should be thankful that we are not owners of the property and had to endure their struggle and losses dealing with our land use planning process over many years.... |

Copperopolis, CA...“Hot Copper Days” vintage car show, a rockin’ 50s/60s dance contest featuringlocal instructors and musicians, hula hooping, a auto-motorcycle parts swap meet, ice-cream eating contests and more will highlight a day full of fun for the entire family at Copperopolis Town Square on Saturday, May 2 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event is free to spectators.
