Angels Camp, CA...The latest schedule of road repairs and maintenance that will affect your travels in our area and as you travel. Locally crews will be working on many of our roadways. Below is Caltrans plans for repairs and maintenance on local roads. It shows the route, county, and location of the possible repairs. Weather and other factors can alter their schedule.

Ione Woman Passes Away from Injuries Sustained in Collision that sent Her Vehicle into Pardee Reservoir |

San Andreas, CA...CHP has issued a sad update that Autumn Hernandez, 35 of Ione has passed away from her injuries. From our earlier report on the collision..."An Ione Woman was driving her Hyundai northbound on Sandretto Road (Pardee Dam Rd), north of Campo Seco Road, traveling at an unknown speed. As she was entering a left hand curve in the roadway for northbound traffic, for a yet to be determined reason, she allowed the Hyundai to travel off of the roadway and collide with the wood/metal guardrail. The Hyundai then continued over the guardrail, and down a dirt embankment. Her vehicle then rolled over, and came to rest, on its roof, submerged in Pardee Reservior. Citizens were able to pull her from the vehicle prior to emergency personnel arriving on scene. She was transported by Air Ambulance to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto with major injuries." CHP San Andreas updated their release to note that she passed away on October 24th

Valley Springs, CA...An Ione Woman was driving her Hyundai northbound on Sandretto Road (Pardee Dam Rd), north of Campo Seco Road, traveling at an unknown speed. CTC Allocates More Than Half a Billion Dollars to Safety, Congestion Relief and Road Improvement Projects Including Some in Alpine, Amador & Tuolumne |

Sacramento, CA...Caltrans announced today that the California Transportation Commission allocated $669 million for more than 100 projects, funded by or at least partly by Senate Bill 1 (SB 1), the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017. “This allocation builds on a year of funding approvals that have allowed us to move more than $15 billion worth of projects forward,” said Caltrans Director Laurie Berman. “So far Caltrans has completed 53 SB 1 projects, a number anticipated to grow to 100 by December 31, with more on the horizon in 2019.”

San Andreas, CA...Red Flag Warning Continues Into This Evening. Critical fire weather conditions will continue through this evening across portions of interior northern California due to a combination of gusty wind, and low humidity. Winds will decrease slowly this afternoon and evening, but will remain breezy over the foothills and west slopes of the Northern Sierra Nevada into early Tuesday.
