Posted by: thepinetree on 03/23/2014 10:54 PM

The first of two planned open-to-everyone events, kicked off her campaign for re-election in District 3. The event in the Murphys area allowed her to network with voters in the Murphys/Douglas Flat area. The District has been enlarged via redistricting to include the communities along Hwy 4 down to the Douglas Flat area since the last election. As we were bouncing between events we missed her speech and wanting to be fair on giving the candidates an opportunity to get their messages out we conducted an interview with her in the Children's section of the Arnold Library on the Friday after the event....

Posted by: thepinetree on 03/19/2014 12:07 PM
New York, NY...On March 19, 2014, the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) directed the Open Market Trading Desk (the Desk) at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York to purchase additional agency mortgage-backed securities (MBS) at a pace of about $25 billion per month and longer-term Treasury securities at a pace of about $30 billion per month, beginning in April 2014.
