San Andreas, CA...On Monday, November 18 at 12 o’clock noon, judicial leadership from the Calaveras County Superior Court, the Judicial Council of the State of California and the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), along with local elected and appointed officials, will dedicate the newly constructed Calaveras County Courthouse, located at 400 Government Center Drive, San Andreas. The new courthouse will open to the public on Monday, November 25, 2013....

Murphys, CA....A crowd of over 170 people gathered in the Music Room of Ironstone Vineyards Saturday night to see three couples compete for the coveted Mirror Ball with a theme of Broadway. Twinkling stars, ostrich feathers and lighted wall graphics dazzled the guests as they enjoyed the evening’s entertainment. In addition to the show the hosts, Mark Twain Medical Center Foundation, celebrated their 30th Anniversary by presenting a check for $250,000 to the Mark Twain Medical Center to begin the design phase of the Angels Camp Family Medical Center...
Above are many additional photos. We didn't get a chance to video the competition but the dances were great. Below is a demo dance video from Lauren Nicole and Edwin Bobrycki. If this was their demo...you can just imagine what their performance was like. The competition was won by Debbie Peterson & Mike Butow.

Valley Springs, CA... Rain or Shine - Parade begins promptly at 10:00 am, be there for line-up no later than @ 9:15 am. Enter the Parade route at the corner of California & Chestnut. Parade line up/location spot and maps will be sent by email by November 25th. Participation ribbons for kids may be collected the morning of the parade. The judge's stand will be on the corners of Daphne & Cedar. Only 30 seconds will be allowed for judging. Trophies will be awarded immediately after the parade at the judge's stand. Santa will make a special trip from the North Pole to our Parade in Valley Springs. |

Arnold, CA...The Arnold Scenic Byway and GABA area promotional signs are going back up in town. Paul Bertini, Sam Sturgis & Tim Bennett recently volunteered their time & equipment to put back up the Highway Banner Signs in Arnold. Caltrans is still at this time making a final decisions on placements so their locations may be adjusted a bit before they find permanent homes.
