Angels Camp, CA...Wesley Hutton Sagewalker received a $10,000 scholarship after completing his senior at Bret Harte high school. He finished number one in his class with a GPA of 4.2653. Through his entire years at Bret Harte he never received less than an A in each of his classes. He has been accepted at Yale, Harvard, Princeton, Cornell, Georgetown and Stanford. Murphys, CA...The Chamber Mixer scheduled for tonight will now be at Murphys Suites, located on Highway 4 in Murphys next to Figaros Pizza. The Mixer is being hosted by HRM Consulting and MY Divorce CFO. Delicious appetizers by Wren Catering and Wines from Milliare Winery will be poured. Angels Camp,CA...The Angels Camp Planning Commission approved the proposed McDonald's project in Frog Jump Plaza. The vote was unanimous at 5-0 at Friday night's meeting. According to Planning Commissioner Bob Middleton they hope to be open by November. The approval was conditional with a few minor kinks to be worked out according to Middleton...
